Real Estate in India - Thetalkingbrick.com

With the Reserve Bank of India planning to cut the rates on home loans, this seems to be a goodtime as any to Invest in India. A cut in the rates would mean affordability by many to make their dream, of owning a house, into a reality. Property in India has always been an excellent investment, with investors not only from India but also from abroad coming here to dip into the Real Estate in India.

India property has always been and is the best investment for many. The recent most being that the Himachal Pradesh government has allowed FDI to develop Satellite towns near places like Shimla, Solan, etc. With such opportunities of investment the India Real Estate will see a boom like never before. But this won’t necessarily mean that investment will become simple but it will surely be more relaxed than it was before.

With new and upcoming projects in and around the Delhi NCR region, lower home loan interest rates will be appreciated. Though there remains the question of whether inflation will increase post the rate cuts but the home loan applicants are trying not to think about this for now. The various realty projects that are now active and those that are to be put under operation cater to all the social classes. Some projects are only for the super rich but then there are projects that also cater to the more humble class of the society.

Though this disparity may always remain, Real Estate in India will always have a big market. And with the increase in the standard of living and the capacity for people to earn more, the market will never slump but only flourish. The aspect of connectivity also plays a major role in the investment game. The better the connectivity of a project the better returns one may get, but also bear in mind, that the Basic Sale Price of such projects will also be quite high.

Property in India for some is a fool-proof plan on making a good investment with high returns, but for the less fortunate ones (usually the middle class) investing in property is a very practical decision taken by them over years. Since a large part of the population consists of the working/middle class, for them to blindly invest their money into projects is not the sort of gambling that they would want to go forth with. Even though the interest rates on home loans may not be that high but a middle class person definitely has other pressures like the office, family, etc. For them to gamble away their savings in real estate is not something that they can afford to do. Investment in real estate then becomes a playing field for the rich and the elite, which means that the middle and lower classes can only watch from the sidelines. And by the propagation of such inequality, isn’t the problem of class divide being furthered even more rather than being ameliorated? Food for thought!
